Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

EPS enables prescribers – such as GPs and practice nurses – to send prescriptions electronically to a dispenser (such as a pharmacy) of the patient’s choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff. Due to the Coronavirus, all patients are now required to nominate a pharmacy to collect their medication from. This is to reduce footfall to the practice and reduce transmission of coronavirus. If you need to request further medication please download the NHS App from the App Store or Google Play.

Collecting your prescription will still need to be done the same way, but instead of having to come to the surgery to collect it, it will go directly to your nominated pharmacy.

Please note: You should still allow for 48 hours before it will be sent to the pharmacy
